Let’s get acquainted!

Hi! I’m Emma Washington, owner and bookkeeper at Kelly Bookkeeping Solutions, LLC.

I earned a Master’s degree in Accountancy from UNCW (go Seahawks!). My professional career has included both public and corporate accounting. I understand the importance timely, accurate financial reporting holds to business owners. My goal is to provide pertinent financial insight that will aid in making good business decisions.

The most challenging and rewarding job I’ve ever held, though, was being a homeschool mom to my 3 children. (I survived 13 years!) I love teaching and seeing the light bulb come on when understanding is achieved.

My passion for teaching also spills into my passion for ministry. I have been the ministry leader/business administrator at my church for almost 10 years, leading out in weekly Bible study.

A native of Wilmington, NC, I now call SC home. I like to read, sing, laugh, binge-watch TV series, travel, and spend time with my family.

Life is a balancing act, for sure. And I admit, I’m a bit of a perfectionist…which is why I’m perfectly suited for bookkeeping. I won’t be satisfied until everything is balanced and correct. I thrive on success and helping others succeed. I’m excited about this opportunity to use my gifts and talents to help you reach your goals.
